Leadership Updates

Secretary Update – Laurel Watt

The November Board Minutes were approved.

Treasurer Update– Kristina Hughes

The November & December Treasurer’s Reports were approved.

Kristina Hughes presented the proposed 2025 budget which was approved. Apart from two increases for Zoom renewals and financial aid, the budget largely mirrors the 2024 budget.

Program Coordinator Update – Darren Lochner

An upgrade to the State MG database means that MG’s will not be able to enter hours for January and February. Do your best to keep track by other means for now. Core Course Zoom Q & A sessions began on Tuesday, January 14th. This will conflict with our monthly meetings; however, Darren encourages interns to participate in the member monthly meetings as the Q & A sessions are being recorded. Also, note that this year’s RCMG Awards and Reception is scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd from 1-4 p.m. at the Roseville Skating Center in the Rose Banquet Room.

Chair and Vice-Chair Report

Vice-Chair Report – Beth Fritcher

The 2024 audit was completed on January 11th and the final report will be presented to the Board and the membership in March at the regularly scheduled meetings.

Chair Report – Kay Wimer

Kay reported that work continues in subcommittees on the Strategic Management Plan. The next endeavor will focus on a Policy and Procedures Manual.
