Want a great way to interact directly with a homeowner as they plan and implement a garden project? Try coaching with the state's Lawns to Legumes (L2L) program!
L2L offers educational resources and $400 grants to Minnesota residents interested in creating pollinator-friendly habitat. L2L coaches are connected with grant recipients to provide guidance and encouragement throughout the grant period. Coaches don't need to be an expert but many of the grantees express that they couldn’t imagine completing the project without the help and support of their garden-knowledgable coach.
For more information about coaching and to register, see the Lawns to Legumes website.
L2L coaching counts as an RCMG Master Gardener volunteer activity. Log your time under Category E7 – "Educational Service Projects: Other (write in: Lawns to Legumes)".
