In addition to leading the Aldrich Arena rain gardens project, Simba developed classes about invasive plants and weed management for the Speakers Bureau, been on the RCMG Education Committee and was a section captain for native plants at the plant sale in 2024. She has volunteered more than 800 hours in her 8 years with RCMG, organized Garden Gate tours, and participated in the Bee Line (Frogtown) and Round Lake Restoration projects.

Congratulations, Simba, on this well-deserved recognition!
